Ministry Assistant
The Ministry Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Lead Pastor and church leadership while overseeing the daily functions of the front church office. This role includes answering phones, greeting guests, fielding questions and requests, and distributing mail and packages. Additional duties may include making phone calls, cutting and folding materials, and other tasks as assigned. Other responsibilities may include ordering supplies, posting flyers, and maintaining the community events cabinet.
Serving as a central point of communication for staff and volunteers, this role helps maintain an organized, welcoming, and efficient environment that supports the mission and ministries of the church.
Qualified candidates must possess strong administrative and communication skills, along with proficiency in Google Docs. Familiarity with Apple programs is preferred but not required.
Applicants should be comfortable learning new software and digital tools as needed, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced ministry environment.
This is a part-time, nonexempt position compensated on an hourly basis. Final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience and education.
