I grew up in Northwest Missouri near St. Joseph, MO, and met my wife, Chelsea, at Ozark Christian College in Joplin. Our two kids, Carter and Olivia, came along while we were serving at Parkview Christian Church in the south suburbs of Chicago.

Since then, we’ve lived everywhere from Colorado to spending a year on the road in an RV. Yes, it was as fun and chaotic as it sounds (ask me sometime about backing up a 40-foot camper). Adventure seems to follow us, and we’re always up for a good story or a good laugh.

What I love most about this community is how the passion to follow Jesus is every bit as contagious as the love for the lake. I’m excited to be part of the pastoral team, helping our church keep living that out.
