I joined the OHills team to handle facilities at the church in August 2024. The position came at a time when I lacked direction, and I joined and have stayed because of a powerful moment I experienced on my first Sunday during worship. I felt like I finally understood something that I had been making complicated: God is my Heavenly Father, a father that has nothing but love for me, and there is peace in knowing that I don’t have to do anything extravagant or unique to earn that love. He has been utilizing my position at this church to remind me of that love and surround me with a community that helps encourage me in my faith journey. I’m thankful that God has been utilizing my position at OHills to show me all this. In my personal life, my greatest passion is drumming. I have drummed in many venues and various stages, and now I get to use those talents to serve the Lord and encourage the church!
